Northwest Paradise or Warm Sunny Paradise

Recently quoted by Sky Duck Pine:

"Oh, finally its spring time, oh, what's that, is that a flower, wow, there's a flower blooming, how wonderful, a single flower, isn't that so precious! It's been five months since I've seen any signs of nature's new life. Oh these seasons are so wonderful, its so great to wait so many long days and months just to see a flower bloom outside. Now I know how to appreciate a flower, oh majestic Northwest, you've taught me a great lesson: "I hide inside closed doors most of the year, so I can appreciate a beautiful flower blooming in the spring. Now I know the meaning of seasons"

Oh what fun, windy, rainy, and cold for a long time. Hey folks in the Great Northwest, have another nice year.

Big Wheel Single Speed's Response:

The sarcasm is so thick I could butter my toast with it. Well Sky Duck Pine...mister "tuck your tail and run for the Northwest as soon as it starts warming up in Texas," as soon as you have braved your first summer down here we'll talk. Until then keep smiling up at the rain!

  1. There's a difference between spreading it thick and accuracy. Take away the sunshine, replace it with hundreds of cold sunless days, and what do you get?

Wet complaining people complaining about how short the summer was.

Most believe wisdom comes with age. Isn't it ironic most of the older and wiser head south to avoid the dredge of another long winter.

Having said that, my ears also tire of the Great Northwest young folks continually barking about crappy weather.

Don't worry, come to the Great Northwest in the summer. Enjoy the fresh air, evergreen trees, mountain peaks, and the like. But remember, you will pay, for your short time of play up here.
